Metal versus Mantra – achieving balance
I love to move and I especially love to lift heavy stuff and hit things! In particular, lifting kettlebells with a focus on kettlebell sport competition training, punching pads and hitting tyres with sledgehammers… Also used frequently are my trusty pull-up bar and CrossCore® War Machine (suspension trainer with pulley). As well as keeping me strong and kick ass this all takes its toll on my body with sore muscles, strained tendons and feeling drained. Kettlebell sport is superb at improving strength endurance but the dynamic grip endurance required plays havoc with the tendons in your arms!
